I pulled the disc out and saw it dumped a bunch of red ink in the center of the disc making a mess. The application will let you use most images; I found that a good quality jpg worked just fine. I have done everything from simple text, to complex graphics, and everything turns out well. I am not a power user and dabble in DVD's making home movies of vacations. The machine has turned my discs to a whole new level of Professional finish.
To allow for this there is a section for adding additional drivers I uninstalled and reinstalled the software, went to technical support to download the firmware upgrade and the only thing that happened when I went to print a disc was the unit inside started to smoke, the disc kept spinning with nothing else happening.

I was disappointed with the inkjet inherent inability to print a decent black, with it turning out more like a purple when printing a color photo. I currently have a Canon PIXMA iP printer at home, it is a brilliant printer that, from its six individual cartridges prints an amazing picture, and, does the same when you get the CD tray out, set it up and work out the right setting to use.

Overall, a capable and well designed product--if you don't mind the wait. It is currently connected to a Windows 7 64 bit computer, and I would like to print to it from a different Windows 7 32 bit computer.
